In addition to the regular Masterworks Chorale, which will sing the Christmas concert and the May concert, there will also be Viva Voce, the smaller, auditioned ensemble, which will sing the October and March concerts.  (Members of Viva Voce will also sing with the main chorus.)

Also, the Chorale has been invited by Dr. Timothy Seelig to sing at Lincoln Center in a performance of Joseph Martin’s “Song of Wisdom” from Old Turtle.  That trip will be June 3-6.

Auditions for both Masterworks as a whole (which are very low key) and for Viva Voce (which is for trained or experienced singers) are Thursday, August 26, beginning at 6:00 pm, at the Center for Performing and Visual Arts; and on Saturday, August 28, beginning at 10:00 am.  To audition, call the Centre at 770-254-2787.  For more information about either group, see the accompanying articles.
